The Seven-Card Spread, Moon Arc

From new moon to full moon and back

Seven cards in an arc that mirrors the moon cycle. Each position belongs to a phase: from the seed of the new moon, through growth, to full bloom and back to rest. This is a spread to read over time, perfect at the start of a new month or cycle.

When to use

For bigger themes that stretch over weeks or months. At the start of a project, a season, or during moon rituals.

Ritual

Do this spread preferably at new or full moon. Light a candle, shuffle the deck in silence, and lay the cards in an arc from left to right, like a rising and then setting moon.

Meaning per position

    New moon, the seed

    What wants to be born in this cycle? The intention, the longing, the unspoken beginning.

    Waxing crescent, the first action

    The first concrete step. Small, honest, not perfect, but real.

    Full moon, the bloom

    The peak. What becomes visible now reveals the essence of the cycle. Celebrate and observe.
